Birth
My name is Clea Eppelin. I'm a filmmaker, doula, and mother of 3 girls. I’m from Costa Rica, and right now I live in Seattle WA.
I have been a filmmaker for many years, and when my first daughter was born, I got deeply involved in the home birth community, became a doula and an advocate for the humanized birth movement. I started filming births for a documentary and after giving moms their films and seeing their expressions, I thought it would be an beautiful memory . So I decided to offer this service.
I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to film many births. Most of the films I’ve made are private, but here’s a few films I made that I have permission to show. I hope you enjoy them. (these videos are in Spanish since these were filmed in Costa Rica).

If you are interested and getting your birth filmed and having a beautiful video to remember that magical moment of your life, it would be an honor for me to help you. We can have a conversation about what you have in mind. We can start earlier in your process and film moments in the pregnancy, or we can start closer to your date. It’s up to you.
My pricing is simple. The base price for a 15 minute video is $2500. It includes the initial meetings and conversations, joining you when labour begins, the delivery and between 1 and 2 hours after the delivery. I’m open to customize the pricing based on your needs, so let’s talk.
